What You'll Do
Performs tasks and procedures consistent with Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant's (PA) specialized knowledge, judgment, skill, training and education within the scope of his/her supervising physician. NP/PA will enter into and maintain a supervision agreement with a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Arkansas. Under such agreement, the physician delegates to the NP/PA authority to deliver health care services and treatments, and to prescribe drugs, medications, devices or therapies which are specific to those clinical conditions treated by the supervising physician.

Requirements
Current Arkansas Advanced Practice Nurse licensure as a Nurse Practitioner according to AR State Board of Nursing.
Current Arkansas Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
OR
Current Arkansas Physician Assistant license.
Graduate of Physician assistant program accredited by the committee on Allied Health, education and accreditation of the American Medical Association.
