The posting

We are hiring for a Full-Time Department Manager in Training with a wage range of $45,000 - $60,000 in Alberta.   Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

Lead Department Team in merchandising items for weekly, promotional, and seasonal displays

Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts

Schedule Department Team Members to ensure that production and customer needs are met

Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed

Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team

Train, develop, and motivate Department Team Members

Resolve customer and department concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience

Maintain a clean and sanitized work area

Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture by modeling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth

Providing an exceptional customer experience

  What you Bring: 

2 years minimum of progressive food service or retail management experience

A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a retail or food service environment

Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs

Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills

A passion for leading and developing others

Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills

Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (i.e. early mornings, evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs

Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development. #FBOPS
