Front Row Group median: 3 days open

The posting

Front Row isn't a traditional agency. We're a connected growth engine, combining strategy, creative, media, and Amazon performance to scale beauty, wellness, and consumer brands. Our difference is in what we connect, and the results it drives: faster growth, stronger conversion, and full-funnel efficiency across every platform.

Born from the unification of five commerce-first agencies, Front Row's Amazon Marketplace Growth division operates at the intersection of brand and performance to help emerging and established brands scale strategically on Amazon.

About Front Row Amazon Marketplace Growth

Front Row's Amazon Marketplace Growth division is purpose-built to help brands scale profitably and strategically on Amazon. We support every stage of the Amazon journey, from early-stage channel entry to enterprise-level expansion, through a connected service model that spans 3P Management, 1P Management, and 3P Distribution.

What sets us apart is our ability to match business models to business moments across a brand's Amazon lifecycle. Whether we're helping a brand take control of its presence through 3P Management, streamline vendor operations via 1P, or unlocking new revenue through our owned retail Distribution model, we operate with agility, transparency, and a relentless focus on performance.

Our team blends deep Amazon fluency with category-specific expertise across Beauty, Health, Wellness, Pet, and Household CPG, offering tailored strategies, full-funnel optimization, and executional excellence.

As part of Front Row's broader connected commerce offering, we bring Amazon into alignment with a brand's DTC, retail, and marketing ecosystem, ensuring that success on-platform fuels momentum off-platform, too.

The Role

For many brands, the biggest limit on marketplace growth sits upstream. It might be a distribution gap, a pricing conflict, weak brand awareness, or a retail plan pulling in another direction. To grow a brand on marketplaces, you have to understand the whole business.

As Enterprise Director, CPG (Beauty & VMS), you'll be the connected commerce partner to Front Row's premier Beauty and VMS brands. You'll support each brand's omnichannel strategy so what we learn off-channel sharpens what we do on marketplace. You'll lead Front Row's work directly and partner with the brand's other agency and retail partners where Front Row isn't running the work.

This is an analytical strategy role that requires hands-on experience leading enterprise CPG brands. You're as comfortable identifying strengths and weaknesses within a business, reading a marketing mix model, or presenting a strategic guidance plan. You'll lead strategy, own revenue growth across your portfolio, and build a team of omnichannel leaders to better guide holistic CPG growth across a complex retail system.

Your Impact at Front Row

Lead Brand Growth Strategy

  • Shape each brand's annual growth plan, turning revenue, margin, and share targets into a clear strategy and the execution to deliver it.
  • Diagnose what's holding growth back, whether it's brand awareness and demand generation, pricing and promotion, product-market fit, or retail performance, and trace how each constraint affects marketplace results.
  • Balance long-term brand building against near-term demand capture, and show how that balance affects growth, MER, and margin.
  • Define the role of each sales outlet (DTC, marketplaces, specialty and mass retail), and where growth in one lifts or cannibalizes another.
  • Apply category context, from prestige vs. mass trade-offs in Beauty to replenishment and subscription dynamics in VMS.
  • Help brands earn visibility in AI-driven discovery through AEO/GEO, with LLM citations a core Front Row focus in the years ahead.
  • Give strategic direction to Front Row's Amazon team, who own day-to-day activation on marketplace.

Guide Decisions with Data and Modeling

  • Set the measurement agenda for each enterprise client in partnership with Front Row Analytics [and our MMM partner], and turn what works across your portfolio into Front Row's standard for enterprise brands.
  • Make MER each brand's headline efficiency measure, and use MMM to explain what drives it: each lever's contribution, saturation point, and marginal return.
  • Measure brand building as rigorously as performance, tracking awareness, consideration, and branded search demand alongside MMM's long-term effects.
  • Combine MMM, lift and geo holdout tests, and attribution into one measurement approach, and model the payoff of different spend levels in P&L terms a CFO recognizes.
  • Bring DTC, marketplace, retail POS, and SPINS or Circana data into a single MER-anchored scoreboard for brand leadership, using Front Row's proprietary tools, including Catapult, to move faster.

Own Portfolio Growth

  • Own your portfolio's revenue and growth targets, and report on both directly to Front Row leadership.
  • Expand each relationship by solving the brand's next growth problem, bringing in Front Row's strategy, creative, content, media, affiliate, and Distribution teams.
  • Build the strategy and measurement case at the center of enterprise Beauty and VMS pitches, and be a visible voice for Front Row in both categories.

Build the Team

  • Lead Front Row's Beauty and VMS client pods, developing Client Partners and Account Directors into data-fluent strategists whose recommendations are backed by evidence.
  • Bring Front Row's strategy, analytics, creative, content, and media leads together around each brand as one connected team.

Your First Year

First 90 days: Build relationships with leadership at our top Beauty and VMS partners and with your team. Assess each brand's growth levers, constraints, and measurement maturity, then deliver a growth point of view for your largest accounts with a MER target attached.

By six months: Every enterprise brand in your portfolio has a connected commerce plan tied to a total-business MER target, plus a measurement roadmap built with Front Row Analytics.

By twelve months: You've led at least one MMM-guided budget shift that improved MER and delivered incremental growth, hit your portfolio revenue targets, and expanded Front Row's role with several top partners. Your team is known across Front Row for its strategic and analytical depth.

The Experience We're Looking For

Must-haves

  • 7+ years in growth strategy, marketing strategy, or analytics, much of it leading omnichannel work for enterprise CPG brands. Beauty and/or VMS experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience as the strategic leader on enterprise CPG brands, with a clear view of how retail, pricing, brand building, and advertising work together to drive growth.
  • Experience setting real budgets with MER targets, marketing mix models, and lift tests, and knowing which assumptions to question.
  • An analytical mind that finds the insight that matters in messy data and presents it so leadership acts.
  • Ownership of revenue targets for a client portfolio or brand P&L, with a record of growing both.
  • Experience building teams and leading other managers.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Strong additions

  • Highly preferred: Hands-on AEO/GEO experience, especially earning brand citations and visibility in LLM answers.
  • Experience rebuilding a brand's measurement around MER, MMM, and brand health tracking, and moving leadership away from platform-reported ROAS.
  • Comfort pairing DTC and marketplace results with category share and retail POS data.
  • A brand-side, founder, operator, or strategy consulting chapter in your career.
  • Experience spanning prestige and mass Beauty, or specialty and mass VMS, plus an active presence in the CPG community.

How We'll Know It's Working

  • Portfolio revenue: retention and growth against annual targets, and the breadth of Front Row services each brand uses
  • Brand growth: profitable revenue and share gains across retail, DTC, and marketplaces
  • Evidence-led budgets: MER improvement and MMM-guided budget shifts that delivered incremental revenue, with every enterprise brand running a unified measurement plan
  • Brand strength: growth in awareness, consideration, and branded search demand
  • AI discovery: growth in brand citations and visibility across LLM answers
  • Team strength: stronger strategists on your team, promotions from within, and top performers who stay

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
