We are searching for a Construction Professional to join our Construction team in Woodstock, Ontario. In this hands-on role, you will set the standard on our sites while working closely with trades to ensure our high-quality expectations are consistently met. From back-framing to drywall, you will apply your technical expertise and contribute to quality workmanship throughout every stage of construction. You take pride in being actively involved in the field and bring a strong work ethic, exceptional problem‑solving abilities, and an unwavering commitment to quality – never hesitating to dive in and get the job done.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Support the General Manager in coordinating and directing sub-contractors to ensure clear communication, timely decision-making, and consistent quality control of workmanship.
  • Complete all required checklists to a satisfactory standard and submit them to the General Manager before the home can advance to the next construction stage.
  • Mark out houses for Sub-Contractors (electrical, cabinets, plumbing etc).
  • Enforce trade cleanliness and oversee site organization, including material management and returns, to ensure homes are clean, safe, and ready for subsequent trades.
  • Identify, address, and/or report unsafe working conditions to the General Manager to maintain a safe job site.
  • Support the training and development of less experienced employees by mentoring them in construction techniques, procedures, and health and safety practices.
  • Participate in required health and safety drills, Fusion Construction training programs, and mandatory safety courses to maintain current certifications, ensure regulatory compliance, and support ongoing skill development in alignment with company standards.
  • Support with administrative duties, including booking inspections, approving and coding invoices, managing work‑to‑complete items, and assisting with material management.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on residential construction experience (e.g. residential carpentry, framing).
  • High School Diploma, post-secondary education (e.g. Carpentry, Construction Techniques, etc) preferred.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to perform a wide range of hands‑on construction tasks.
  • Foundational knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Delivers high-quality results through clear and effective communication.
  • Health & Safety certifications (Worker Awareness, WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid) are considered an asset.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
