Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Position Overview: The Customer Service Representative is responsible for order entry, invoice, and other shipping duties required in the shipment of products. Also answer incoming calls and e-mails to take orders, answer inquiries, address complaints, and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer orders by telephone, fax, and other electronic means and enter data.
  • Discuss delivery times, issues, and handle customer concerns.
  • Create sales order numbers for orders and communicate with customers.
  • Communicate and distribute orders to production and plant management.
  • Create shipping papers for loads.
  • Contact and dispatch drivers for shipments posting time in and out for each shipment.
  • Keeping log on drop trailers & shipments
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent data entry skills necessary.
  • Communicate in English, legibly and effectively in writing. Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal communication and written skills
  • Two years’ customer service experience.
  • SAP Experience.

Education / Certifications:

High school education required; Associate degree preferred.
