Verksamhetsbeskrivning

Socialförvaltningen bedriver lagstyrd verksamhet med stöd av socialtjänstlagen, hälso- och sjukvårdslagen och lagen om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade. Socialförvaltningen ska på demokratins grund främja människors ekonomiska och sociala trygghet, jämlikhet i levnadsvillkor och aktiva deltagande i samhällslivet men också ge en god omsorg, hälso- och sjukvård och service till äldre, personer med funktionsnedsättning och andra som behöver samhällets stöd. Vi söker nu en enhetschef till avdelningen vård och omsorg.

Arbetsuppgifter Som enhetschef ska du arbeta verksamhetsnära och operativt med ett tydligt ansvar för brukare, medarbetare, arbetsmiljö och ekonomi inom din verksamhet. Du ska leda och styra verksamheten genom ett resultatinriktat arbetssätt utifrån politisk målstyrning och egenkontroll. Du ingår i avdelningen för vård- och omsorgs ledningsgrupp och är direkt underställd avdelningschef. I samarbete med ledningsgruppen har du ansvar för din enhet men även för helheten inom avdelningen. Som stöd för ditt uppdrag har du arbetsledare och övriga enhetschefer inom avdelningen och socialförvaltningen samt stöd från kommunövergripande funktioner inom t ex personal och ekonomi.

Kvalifikationer Du har: - för uppdraget lämplig högskole-/universitetsutbildning - erfarenhet av att fungera som chef/ledare, erfarenhet av arbetsledning - erfarenhet av arbete inom vård- och omsorg, administration, ledning på enhetsnivå - förmåga och intresse att hantera ekonomi och verksamhet i ett helhetsperspektiv

Du har förmåga att möta människor samt skapa förtroende och trygghet inom organisationen och gentemot våra brukare. Vi vill att du ser möjligheter, är öppen för nytänkande och har förmåga att entusiasmera dina medarbetare. Tjänsten förutsätter att du har ledar- och samarbetsförmåga. Det är även meriterande om du har utbildning inom personal och ekonomi.

Eftersom vi är en förvaltningskommun för minoritetsspråken samiska, finska och meänkieli, ser vi det som positivt om du behärskar något av minoritetsspråken.
