  • Drive continuous improvement by providing technical analysis of current best technologies, recommending process/equipment modifications, and resolving routine operational issues.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for design, detailed engineering, coordination, commissioning, and startup activities for both project and plant engineering initiatives.
  • Manage internal maintenance and external contractors during project execution and support new product/systems development.
  • Provide consistent plant engineering support to Production and Maintenance, leading troubleshooting efforts and serving as the primary resource for complex problem resolution.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain thorough engineering standards for project execution, equipment, design, safety, and cost control.
  • Actively promote and enforce safety initiatives, policies, and best practices related to equipment operation and maintenance.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical) required
  • 5+ years experience, preferably in manufacturing or roofing/building products.
  • Must be able to work as a multi-disciplinary project manager, supervise as a lead engineer, and provide expertise in maintenance, operations, and process management.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing all project aspects within budget, scope, and downtime constraints.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer software and G Suite is essential.

General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of OSHA, general industry, and environmental compliance.
  • Proficient in written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail; able to plan, execute, and control multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills, including hands-on experience with contractors and/or internal maintenance.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Preferred engineering experience with integrated design environments (e.g., OEMs or consultant engineering).

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability in capital project planning, development, and execution, including conceptual/detailed design, construction/installation coordination, training, turnover, commissioning support, and sustained ownership.
  • Application knowledge of standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures; preferred engineering experience in transferable manufacturing, OEM, or engineering design environments with continuous production equipment/process systems.
  • Advanced ability to read/interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Proficiency using root cause analysis and structured methods (e.g., Kepner-Trego) for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to translate technical data for operations and maintenance personnel.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
