Job Title – Senior Project Manager
Location - West Midlands
What you will be doing:
- Lead the end to end delivery of projects from tender award to handover & aftercare
- Develop and manage project plans, programmes, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and external suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with Clients & stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, health and safety legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project governance, reporting, and performance against key milestones.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining operational continuity.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage change effectively.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with Group Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations.
- Support the development of team members both technically and professionally
- Support business development by identifying opportunities for service improvement and future work.
About You:
- You will have experience of working within the Construction industry, specifically on Design and Build, new build and refurbishment projects.
- You will have significant experience of projects with values over £15million.
- Ability to work as part of and lead a team
- Applicants must have experience of managing Client's, staff and sub-contractors and all aspects of the build process
- Excellent communicator
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex projects.
- Previous experience working within prisons, custodial environments, or the secure estate (not essential).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, negotiation, and decision making abilities.
- Relevant professional membership (APM, PMI, CIOB, or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel where required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
