Coordinator, Distributed Partnerships This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the US, except for Alaska, Hawaii and Wyoming. Preferable locations would be NYC or Washington D.C. USA TODAY CO. is seeking a Coordinator, Distributed Partnerships, to report to the Senior Director, Business Development and Distributed Partnerships. This role will support the day-to-day execution and growth of our Distributed Partnerships business, including data management, business tracking, operational support, and cross-functional coordination across News Aggregator, Social Media, Content Licensing, AI Licensing, Philanthropy, and Film Production partnerships. USA TODAY Co. has built an established and industry-leading content licensing and distribution business, managing strategic partnerships with some of the world’s largest platforms and technology companies, including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Apple News, Yahoo, Google, and Samsung. As one of the largest media companies in the U.S., we leverage the scale of our flagship USA TODAY brand, our sports enthusiast brands, and 200+ local publications to extend the reach and value of our content well beyond our owned and operated platforms. We are looking for a driven and ambitious coordinator with a strong administrative foundation who is eager to grow their career within a fast-paced, high-growth content distribution and partnerships business.   Responsibilities:

Organize partner contracts and maintain detailed knowledge of basic deal terms, expirations and renewal timelines. Create new workflows, improve existing business operations, and assist in the execution of new initiatives. Own data tracking and analysis of revenue and performance metrics for the Distributed Partnerships team. Navigate multiple dashboards and track incoming partner reports to maintain robust monthly and quarterly performance Excel sheets. Proactively identify trends and anomalies in partner data sets to the Distributed Partnerships leaders. Design, produce and present data reports, PowerPoint presentations, and visualizations to senior team leaders to demonstrate business initiatives and performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Audience to support data-driven initiatives. Assist the Distributed Partnerships team with initiatives and tasks to strengthen and support key partnerships. Ideate and identify new business and partnership opportunities based on a strong understanding of USA TODAY Co.’s content portfolio and the evolving media landscape. Curate and distribute a weekly internal Content Monetization newsletter, highlighting industry specific insights, news, and updates. Provide administrative support across the team, including coordinating travel, scheduling and organizing meetings, booking reservations, processing expenses, preparing meeting materials, and maintaining team documentation. Maintain knowledge and awareness of competitive marketplace and provide team with regular briefings on the media industry. 

Requirements: 

Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years' experience in a business, analytics or administrative role. Experience using Salesforce for contract management. Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills – experience developing graphs, creating pivot tables, utilizing basic formulas and macros is required. Ability to read and understand contracts to ensure deal compliance. Experience managing file sharing systems (Sharepoint, WeTransfer, Dropbox, etc.) Experience working with internal and external stakeholders. Extremely detail oriented and data obsessed. Exceptional executive presence. Experience supporting Executive team members. Strategic thinker, self-starter, and creative problem solver. Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.  Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity.

Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience.
