Gay Buick GMC in Dickinson, TX is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Service Department BDC. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and support by efficiently managing service department communications and appointments. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, organized, and customer-focused, helping to drive service department success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming service calls and emails, responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
  • Schedule and confirm service appointments for customers, ensuring optimal service department efficiency.
  • Follow up with customers on service reminders, appointment confirmations, and post-service satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and service appointments in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with service technicians and other department staff to ensure seamless communication and scheduling.
  • Assist in the development of strategies to improve service department productivity and customer retention.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism.
  • Previous experience in automotive service or customer service roles is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
