  • Support cross-functional response efforts during significant incidents.

Data Quality & Process Improvement

  • Apply data quality and governance standards to incident records and escalations.
  • Follow and help maintain SOPs and playbooks.
  • Review AI-assisted triage outputs and identify errors before escalation.
  • Recommend workflow and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree, certification, or technical training in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cyber operations, SOC, incident management, or watch floor environments.
  • Experience with incident triage, escalation, and ticket/case management systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking, common attack techniques, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Strong written communication skills for reports and notifications.
  • Ability to work assigned shifts and support surges when required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI access.
  • Ability to work onsite at DHS Headquarters and other National Capital Region locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting national-level cyber operations centers, fusion centers, or DHS/CISA, NSA, FBI, or USCYBERCOM environments.
  • Familiarity with OT/ICS environments, including SCADA, PLC, and DCS technologies.
  • Knowledge of NCISS or similar scoring frameworks.
  • Experience with SIEM, SOAR, ServiceNow, or comparable platforms.

  • Knowledge of federal incident reporting requirements and timelines.
  • Experience operating against service-level targets for triage and escalation.
  • Current DHS suitability (EOD) determination.
  • Experience handling Traffic Light Protocol (TLP) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
