Job Description Summary

This role is part of the end-to-end Value Stream operating model, structured around 4 Value Streams to better support our customers from opportunity through execution. This model will strengthen accountability and cross-functional collaboration, enabling faster, more predictable delivery, improved customer outcomes, and sustainable growth.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the monthly demand planning lifecycle for Industrial / Fossil Segments and the Outage Value Stream (incl. Repairs), actively building unconstrained, most likely, and risk/opportunity scenarios across S&OP and S&OE horizons.
  • Engage directly with Commercial, Service, and Operations to consolidate inputs such as Strat90 decisions, fleet performance parameters, install base data, and event management.
  • Work side-by-side with FP&A to reconcile operational demand plans with financial targets, ensuring tight alignment across revenue, margin, LRF, and budgeting cycles.
  • Present data-driven analytics and insights to segment leadership during monthly reviews, highlighting cycle-over-cycle changes, gap-to-targets, and product mix shifts to drive decisions.
  • Manage the demand management cycle in alignment with global standard work, actively troubleshooting and adjusting segment-specific process variations as business needs evolve.
  • Track and actively improve demand management KPIs for quality, visibility, and stability, using the S&OP bowler to initiate and follow through on corrective actions.
  • Participate in and lead hands-on Kaizen events and Transformation Action Plans to directly improve the speed and maturity of the planning process.
  • Deliver training and provide day-to-day guidance to stakeholders as per the defined SIPOC to ensure correct application of demand classification and translation methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in demand planning, supply chain management, financial analysis, or operations management.
  • Coherent understanding of Steam Services value chains, specifically the interaction between repairs, outages, and the requirements of the Americas Segments.
  • Familiarity with integrated business planning and its interaction with long-term strategic planning, annual budgeting, and short-term execution.
  • Strong working knowledge of company ERP, CRM, and major business reporting and visualization systems.
  • Proven ability to build cross-functional connections and influence through personal involvement and trust.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and communicate effectively with all levels of the business.

Desired Characteristics

  • Change agent with the energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive continuous improvement and embrace candor.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on prioritizing actions that maximize impact and customer value.
  • Expert at identifying systemic process gaps and driving data-driven remediation strategies.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority planning cycles simultaneously.
  • Effective at translating complex process logic and statistical models into clear business results for senior leadership.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
