As the Global Procurement Leader - Logistics, Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx), you will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Job Description

This position will be responsible for the coordination, management and support of Radiopharma suppliers within North America plus support other subcategories within the PDx Logistics category. The holder of the role will manage Request for Proposal (RFP) and Bid Defences, Negotiate Contracts, lead Vendor Performance Metrics and Vendor Oversight/Governance and participate in Business Reviews. This position will also be responsible for building category / sourcing strategies and conducting market / spend analytics and to lead the execution thereof.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As an integral member of the PDx Sourcing and Supply Chain team, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a lean and strategic approach to our vendor management for both the manufacturing and sales organisations.
  • Ensure all activities with external vendors are awarded and maintained in compliance with Good Distribution Practice, Standard Operating Procedures, and Corporate Policies, Guidelines and Standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining internal collaboration between Logistics Leadership, Supply Chain & Site/Market teams, Quality and regulatory organisations within the PDx business.
  • Generates Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
  • Develop/contribute to the creation of Sourcing strategies.
  • Contract lifecycle management: manages contracts and change orders, including active negotiation of scope of work, payment terms and budgets
  • Works with Finance on budget/forecasting needs, cash flow, project budgets, VCP etc.
  • Work with the Legal team to ensure that risks are managed by the development of strong contracts in line with PDx templates
  • In partnership with Supplier Quality ensures quality oversight of suppliers.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, ensuring ongoing feedback and issue escalation is performed where needed.
  • Measure’s supplier performance utilizing Scorecard/Metric activities; and communicating feedback to the supplier, encourage adaptation on best practices across supplier types and development of continuous process improvements/ maintenance.
  • Facilitates and executes supplier governance meetings and operating reviews.
  • Develops effective partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Leads and contributes to complex functional or company initiatives and special projects as identified by executive management or business need
  • Build an extensive network of stakeholders and knowledge across the PDx organisation.
  • Assists the senior sourcing team with analytics and business process optimisation.
  • Support with business processes optimisations / execution for PDx Logistics (Risk Management, Savings Reporting, Financial Reporting).

PRINCIPAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • Logistics Knowledge
  • Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong business acumen and capacity to understand complex industry dynamics (supplier/partner/product relationships)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact and partner with all levels of management in the company
  • Project management skills to execute complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Fast learner: ability to learn enough of a complex industry and products to interact with highly technical experts, internal stakeholders and lead discussions, negotiations
  • Inclusiveness: ability to partner, support and listen and influence a wide array of internal and external
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organisation.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $100,800.00-$151,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
