The posting

Ben jij enthousiast, zorgzaam en graag tussen kinderen? Wij zoeken een kinderbegeleider die samen met collega’s zorgt voor een warme, speelse en veilige opvang voor kinderen van 2,5 tot 12 jaar.

Je begeleidt kinderen voor en na school, organiseert leuke activiteiten en werkt in een hecht team waar plezier en samenwerking centraal staan.

Je ziet de kinderen opgroeien van kleuter tot 12-jarige – dat schept een bijzondere band, ook met hun ouders. Zo speel je een belangrijke rol in hun ontwikkeling.

Een typische schooldag ziet er zo uit:

- ’s Morgens (vanaf 6:45) verwelkom je de kinderen en hun ouders met een glimlach op de scholen. Sommigen ontbijten bij ons, anderen spelen al vrolijk samen. Jullie zorgen samen voor een rustige en gezellige start van de dag.

- ’s Avonds (na schooltijd) is het tijd voor ontspanning, op school (korte opvang tot ongeveer 17:00) of in de BKO-locatie (lange opvang tot 18:30). Je maakt met je collega’s het vieruurtje klaar (in de BKO-locatie), helpt met huiswerk (zowel op school als in de BKO-locatie), speelt, knutselt en praat met ouders. Samen zorgen jullie dat elk kind met een goed gevoel naar huis gaat.

Tijdens de schoolvakanties is er opvang van 7:00 tot 18.30 uur. Je werkt dan maximaal zes uur per dag en organiseert mee allerlei leuke activiteiten die jullie als team hebben voorbereid.

Je staat er nooit alleen voor: je werkt altijd samen met fijne collega’s. Er is veel ruimte voor humor, overleg en steun. In onze wekelijkse teamvergaderingen denken we samen na over hoe we de werking nog beter kunnen maken.

Een pedagogisch coach begeleidt je tijdens je eerste weken en blijft daarna jouw aanspreekpunt voor vragen, tips en inspiratie.

Je beschikt over een kwalificatiebewijs vereist voor begeleiders buitenschoolse opvang

Kandidaten die niet voldoen aan de diplomavoorwaarden voor de functie van kinderbegeleider, maar wel aan de overige aanwervingsvoorwaarden voldoen, kunnen worden aangesteld in de functie van assistent-kinderbegeleider (salarisschaal D-niveau). Zij kunnen het vereiste kwalificatiebewijs behalen via een erkend opleidingstraject en komen nadien in aanmerking voor een aanstelling als kinderbegeleider.
