Waarom zoeken we een nieuwe collega?

Om onze kwalitatieve buitenschoolse opvang verder te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een halftijdse kinderbegeleider. In deze functie speel je een belangrijke rol in het creëren van een veilige, stimulerende en kindvriendelijke omgeving waarin kinderen zich goed voelen en zichzelf kunnen zijn. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's en ouders en draagt dagelijks bij aan een warme opvang waar spel, ontwikkeling en zorg hand in hand gaan.

Wat ga je doen?

Als kinderbegeleider neem je volgende taken op:

  • Je organiseert en begeleidt leuke en gevarieerde activiteiten die aansluiten bij de interesses en leeftijd van de kinderen.
  • Je stimuleert kinderen tijdens vrij spel en neemt actief deel aan activiteiten.
  • Je zorgt voor een veilige omgeving en houdt steeds het overzicht over de groep.
  • Je verwelkomt kinderen op een warme en respectvolle manier en creëert een positief opvangklimaat.
  • Je begeleidt kinderen tijdens eetmomenten, rustmomenten en toiletbezoeken.
  • Je hebt oog voor kinderen met specifieke zorgnoden en stemt je aanpak hierop af.
  • Je waakt over de veiligheid, gezondheid en hygiëne van de kinderen.
  • Je werkt constructief samen met collega's en neemt actief deel aan teamoverleg.
  • Je communiceert op een open en professionele manier met ouders.
  • Je informeert ouders over het welzijn van hun kind en de dagelijkse werking van de opvang.
  • Je werkt samen met interne en externe partners om een kwalitatieve opvang te garanderen.

Wie zoeken we?

Je beschikt over volgende competenties:

  • Heb je affiniteit met kinderen en haal je energie uit het begeleiden van hun spel en ontwikkeling?
  • Creëer je gemakkelijk een warme, veilige en stimulerende omgeving voor kinderen?
  • Communiceer je vlot en respectvol met kinderen, ouders en collega's?
  • Werk je graag zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband?
  • Ga je georganiseerd en planmatig te werk?
  • Blijf je rustig en efficiënt functioneren wanneer het druk wordt?
  • Denk je oplossingsgericht en neem je initiatief wanneer dat nodig is?
  • Heb je aandacht voor veiligheid, hygiëne en het welzijn van kinderen?
  • Luister je actief naar anderen en werk je constructief samen?
  • Sta je open voor bijscholing, nieuwe inzichten en verbeteringen in de werking?
  • Ben je bereid verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen en zorgvuldig om te gaan met vertrouwelijke informatie?
  • Heb je ervaring als kinderbegeleider of animator dan is dit een plus.
