Wat ga je doen?

  • Als busbegeleider ben je een vertrouwd aanspreekpunt voor kinderen, ouders en de chauffeur. Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:
  • Je rijdt mee met de schoolbus om de kinderen op te halen en af te zetten op de gewenste bushalte, op de ochtendritten (maandag, dinsdag, woensdag en donderdag telkens van 8u tot 9u);
  • Je garandeert de veiligheid van de kinderen, zowel bij het op- als afstappen, bij het eventueel oversteken van de straat, als op de bus zelf (veiligheidsgordel);
  • Je houdt een aanwezigheidslijst bij van de kinderen die meerijden op de schoolbus;
  • Je handhaaft de orde op de schoolbus: kinderen rustig houden tijdens de busrit, geen eten en drinken op de schoolbus, boekentassen en zwemzakken onder de zetel stoppen en niet in het gangpad, …

Competenties

  • Je beschikt over volgende competenties:
  • Heb je een goede kennis van het Nederlands en kan je vlot communiceren met kinderen, ouders en collega's?
  • Werk je graag nauwkeurig en besteed je aandacht aan details, bijvoorbeeld bij het bijhouden van aanwezigheidslijsten?
  • Kan je zelfstandig werken en tegelijk goed samenwerken met een buschauffeur?
  • Neem je spontaan verantwoordelijkheid op wanneer je instaat voor de veiligheid van kinderen?
  • Ben je rustig, geduldig en respectvol in je omgang met kinderen?
  • Kan je op een tactvolle manier afspraken laten naleven?
  • Heb je een klantvriendelijke en behulpzame houding?
  • Sta je open om nieuwe kennis en vaardigheden bij te leren (vb. EHBO, gemachtigd opzichter)?
