Grensarbeid zoekt voor de gemeente Sittard-Geleen een business informatie analist / data-consultant.

Als Business Informatie Analist binnen de unit Data speel je een belangrijke rol bij het succesvol opleveren van producten aan onze eindgebruikers. Vanuit de organisatie is er een groeiende vraag naar nieuwe dataproducten (o.a. dashboards, rapportages, ruimtelijke weergaven, kaartmateriaal, etc.). In deze functie ben jij de verbindende schakel tussen de organisatie en de unit Data. Je hebt kennis van datagedreven werken en je hebt de nodige bagage om als sparringpartner te fungeren voor onze collega’s en ketenpartners. Je stemt proactief af met alle betrokken stakeholders (o.a. IM-adviseurs, functioneel beheerders, teammanagers, business & concern controllers) en brengt functionaliteiten en risico’s in kaart voor de collega’s in de operatie. De functie in het kort:

  • Jij vertaalt de informatiebehoefte van de organisatie naar een duidelijke opdracht en begeleidt het proces van vraag tot oplevering. De daadwerkelijke ontwikkeling en realisatie van dataproducten wordt uitgevoerd door de daarvoor gespecialiseerde collega’s binnen de unit, zoals data-analisten, data-engineers en GIS-specialisten. Jij bewaakt samen met hen de aansluiting tussen de klantvraag, het ontwikkelde product en de gemaakte afspraken.
  • Je bent één van de ambassadeurs van datagedreven werken en draagt dit uit binnen de organisatie.
  • Je begeleidt managers, directieleden, collegeleden, beleidsmedewerkers etc. (o.a. middels workshops) om de daadwerkelijke stuurinformatie te achterhalen.
  • Je denkt mee over hoe we als unit en organisatie beter gebruik kunnen maken onze beschikbare middelen en bent in staat om dit te vertalen naar concrete actiepunten op basis van moderne data-theorieën.
  • Je begeleidt onder andere beleidsmedewerkers bij het definiëren van inzichten. Je werkt hiervoor nauw samen met de betreffende IM-adviseurs om te zorgen dat ontwikkelde producten voldoen aan de meegegeven kaders (bv. IV-strategie & Enterprise Architectuur)
  • Je maakt inzichtelijk tegen welke data gerelateerde issues de unit Data aanloopt. Je begeleidt lopende projecten, bent het aanspreekpunt voor de collega’s in de operatie en bewaakt doorlooptijden.
  • Je toetst of de opgeleverde producten nog steeds voldoen aan de wensen en eisen van de opdrachtgever.

Er liggen veel kansen en mogelijkheden voor de unit Data, waarin jij als business informatie analist een significante bijdrage kunt leveren.

Je herkent jezelf in de volgende competenties: je neemt verantwoording en bent accuraat, analytisch, gestructureerd, resultaatgericht, pakt kansen, stelt in je werk de klant centraal en bent gericht op samenwerking. Bovendien beschik je bij voorkeur over een afgeronde HBO opleiding richting ICT of bedrijfskunde en vind je het geweldig om datagedreven werken samen met alle andere disciplines naar een volgend niveau te tillen. Dit ben jij in het kort:

  • Je bent van nature een proactief persoon, neemt graag het voortouw en hebt overtuigingskracht
  • Je bent een communicatief vaardige professional die energie krijgt van samenwerken met collega’s uit veel verschillende teams en vakgebieden
  • Je bent bekend met methoden om tot de relevante (kern) prestatie indicatoren of inzichten te komen
  • Je bent een resultaatgerichte teamplayer, je gaat voor gezamenlijk succes
  • Je hebt minimaal HBO werk- en denkvermogen en hebt werkervaring binnen het vakgebied.
  • Analyseren, uitwerken en toetsen (volgens PDCA) zijn jouw tweede natuur
