De gemeente Tervuren gaat over tot de aanwerving van een voltijds contractueel diensthoofd omgeving en wonen Av voor onmiddellijke indiensttreding. Er wordt een contractuele wervingsreserve aangelegd voor een periode van 3 jaar.

Als diensthoofd omgeving en wonen stuur je een dienst aan die verantwoordelijk is voor de behandeling van omgevingsvergunningen (stedenbouwkundige dossiers en milieuvergunningen), omgevingshandhaving, ruimtelijke ordening en woonbeleid. Je zorgt voor een vlotte dagelijkse werking en een klantvriendelijke dienstverlening. Je vertaalt strategische beleidskeuzes naar concrete acties en resultaten. Samen met je team werk je aan een kwalitatieve leefomgeving en een toekomstgericht woon- en omgevingsbeleid. Daarnaast vertegenwoordig je de dienst binnen de organisatie, bouw je bruggen met interne en externe partners en draag je bij aan dossiers rond onder meer klimaatadaptatie, ruimtelijke ontwikkeling en woonkwaliteit.

We zoeken een coachend leidinggevende met een sterke affiniteit voor omgeving en wonen, die medewerkers weet te inspireren, verbinden en ondersteunen in hun groei. Je combineert strategisch inzicht met een pragmatische aanpak en voelt je comfortabel in een dynamische context waarin veranderingen en digitale ontwikkelingen elkaar snel opvolgen. Je werkt vlot samen over diensten en beleidsdomeinen heen, neemt initiatief en brengt verschillende belangen samen tot haalbare oplossingen. Dankzij je expertise en bestuurlijke voeling ben je een betrouwbare sparringpartner voor het management en het bestuur. Je handelt steeds integer, resultaatgericht en met aandacht voor de behoeften van inwoners, collega's en stakeholders.

Bij indiensttreding zal je onmiddellijk aangesteld worden als gemeentelijk omgevingsambtenaar. Hiervoor moet je naast, minstens 2 jaar relevante werkervaring, ook in het bezit zijn van een matsterdiploma dat binnen onderstaand studiegebied valt:

  • Ruimtelijke ordening en stedenbouw (bijv. Master in de stedenbouw en de ruimtelijke planning)
  • Architectuur
  • Bouwkunde (industrieel of burgerlijk ingenieur)
  • Milieukunde/ Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen/Biologie (met name voor functies gericht op milieuvergunningen)
  • Rechten/Juridische werkveld (met specialisatie in omgevingsrecht of bestuursrecht)
  • Geografie/Geomatica

Daarnaast herken je je onder andere in de volgende competenties:

  • Samenwerken met collega's en actief bijdragen aan een positieve teamsfeer.
  • Kwaliteitsgericht werken en verantwoordelijkheid opnemen voor je dossiers.
  • Medewerkers gedifferentieerd aansturen en coachen van medewerkers door hen constructieve feedback te geven en te begeleiden in hun ontwikkeling.
  • Netwerken opbouwen en onderhouden met relevante contacten.
  • Helder en overtuigend ideeën en standpunten overbrengen en deze onderbouwen met relevante argumenten. Luisteren naar andere standpunten, respectvol omgaan met vragen en weerstand en openstaan voor feedback en tegenargumenten.
  • Duidelijke en efficiënte werkprocessen en procedures ontwikkelen en verbeteren.
  • Veranderingsmanagement: je initieert en begeleidt veranderingen op een planmatige manier.
  • Doelgericht werken naar vooropgestelde resultaten toe. Je neemt initiatief en stuurt bij waar nodig om doelen effectief te realiseren.
