The posting

- Je neemt de dagelijkse leiding over de ploeg Gebouwen, een team van 8 tot 12 medewerkers, en zorgt voor een vlotte organisatie en coördinatie van de werkzaamheden.

- Je maakt de werkplanning op, verdeelt de opdrachten, geeft duidelijke instructies en volgt de uitvoering nauwgezet op. Waar nodig stuur je bij.

- Je staat samen met je team in voor het onderhoud, de herstellingen en het technisch beheer van de gemeentelijke en OCMW-gebouwen, waaronder scholen, sportcentra, het zwembad, het woonzorgcentrum en diverse wooneenheden.

- Je bewaakt de kwaliteit, veiligheid en netheid van de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en volgt ook de opdrachten van externe aannemers op.

- Je begeleidt, ondersteunt en motiveert je medewerkers. Je stimuleert hun samenwerking, betrokkenheid en verdere ontwikkeling.

- Je werkt nauw samen met het diensthoofd Technische dienst en de verschillende interne diensten om de werkzaamheden efficiënt op elkaar af te stemmen.

- Je analyseert technische problemen en zoekt samen met je team naar haalbare en duurzame oplossingen.

- Je neemt initiatief, formuleert verbetervoorstellen en zorgt ervoor dat de beschikbare middelen efficiënt worden ingezet.

- een goede algemene technische kennis van gebouwen en gebouwonderhoud, onder meer op het vlak van elektriciteit, HVAC, loodgieterij, houtbewerking en bouwtechnieken.

- kennis van of ervaring met preventief en curatief onderhoud en hebt oog voor veiligheid en welzijn op het werk.

- organisatorisch sterk en kan efficiënt plannen, coördineren, opvolgen en bijsturen.

- natuurlijke leider die medewerkers weet te motiveren, te ondersteunen en te coachen.

- praktisch ingesteld, steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en springt bij waar nodig.

- oplossingsgericht, neemt initiatief en denkt graag mee over verbeteringen.

- communiceert vlot en respectvol en werkt graag samen met collega's en andere diensten.

- Je kan zelfstandig werken, neemt verantwoordelijkheid op en houdt steeds rekening met de vooropgestelde kwaliteit en veiligheid.

- Je beschikt over een basiskennis van computergebruik.
