  • Lead on Linac calibration and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with national standards
  • Oversee and deliver radiotherapy QA across all treatment and imaging equipment (including CT/MR and IGRT systems)
  • Collaborate closely with radiographers, oncologists, and clinical teams to ensure safe and effective patient pathways
  • Support and train clinical staff in dosimetry, QA, and treatment planning processes
  • Manage and liaise with engineers regarding equipment maintenance, servicing, and downtime
  • Contribute to service development and innovation, improving planning techniques, QA processes, and efficiency
  • Maintain robust documentation and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in wider GenesisCare physics and dosimetry initiatives across the UK network

What You’ll Have

  • Extensive clinical experience as a Radiotherapy Physicist, operating at Medical Physics Expert (MPE) level
  • Strong expertise in Linac QA, calibration, and dosimetry
  • Experience in IMRT/VMAT planning and plan checking
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to train, mentor, and influence multidisciplinary teams
  • Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist (Radiotherapy)
  • Recognised Medical Physics Expert (MPE) status (or working towards, considered case-by-case)

Desirable:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
