Role

The Security Operations Engineer & Analyst is part of the Security Operations team, which is responsible for operational security processes of Genmab e.g. monitoring security incidents, Exposure Management, and Threat Intelligence. This partly new function will also focus on the important areas of Security Data Analytics and how the team can embed AI-based solutions into the processes and workflows.

The Security Operations Engineer & Analyst’s focus will be on discovering, designing, and implementing AI-based solutions to transform the Security Operations team into an Agent-augmented Security Operations team. This also includes the development of AI-enabled deception mechanisms and smart architecture for delaying and diverting AI-enabled attacks. This function will also be responsible for orchestrating and implementing data feeds to various security platforms in collaboration with the Security Architecture team and colleagues from Data, Digital & AI.

Collaboration with our Application Security, Security Architecture and AI Security teams will form an important aspect to create a strong team that is grounded on Genmab values in ownership, teamwork, and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Designing ML, AI and Agentic use cases in Security Operations
  • Implement meaningful AI and Machine Learning for improvement of quality and speed in our deliverables
  • Data ingestions and normalization
  • Automation use cases
  • Day-to-day security incident handling on a rotational basis.

Success in the First Year

  • Within 90 days, you are a full functional member of the team, and the team routes data and AI questions to you by default.
  • Within 180 days, you have identified and tested AI-solutions and advanced AI LLM models for at least six critical security operations workflows, of which one solution is released to production.
  • Identify the tools, processes, and knowledge transfer required to transition to an agent-augmented Security Operations model.
  • Create evaluation criteria for AI workflows and process automation; define levels of autonomy and when flows can be moved from less to more autonomous.
  • Create AI-assisted toolkits or skills for incident investigations that can be used by the team for alert enrichment, investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Educate the team on the implementation of AI in practice in Security Operations.

The proposed gross annual/hourly base salary range for this position, in the primary location, based on a full time schedule is:

DKK652.800,00---979.200,00

The final salary offer will depend on several factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
