The posting

About the role

AppHarbr, a fast growing SDK product by GeoEdge, protects mobile apps and their users from malicious, offensive and low quality ads in real time. Backed by GeoEdge’s expertise in ad security, we help app and game developers create safer user experiences.

We’re hiring our first Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer in Asia Pacific, based in Beijing, to lead presales and technical relationships in the region.

You’ll own all technical aspects of the client journey, from the first discovery call through live protection and account growth, supporting local app and game developers operating locally and worldwide. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product and R&D across APAC, EMEA and Israel, in a client facing role with real autonomy and the opportunity to shape our growth in China and the APAC region.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the presales process: run technical discovery calls, tailored demos, proofs of concept and strategic client meetings, and keep every conversation moving toward a decision.
  • Translate technical results into clear business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Guide Android and iOS SDK integrations across mediation and bidding setups, from kickoff to live traffic.
  • Debug live issues hands-on using logs and network traces, covering creatives, MRAID and network identification.
  • Act as the senior technical contact for key accounts, handling escalations and root-cause analysis.
  • Stay engaged after the sale, supporting customer success, growth and expansion.
  • Respond to RFIs, security questionnaires and SDK due-diligence reviews, and write client-ready guides in Mandarin and English.
  • Bring China market insights back to Product and R&D, and turn recurring issues into reusable tooling.
  • Support the wider APAC team, including Japan, and represent AppHarbr at industry events, with travel within China and to Japan.

Requirements

What you bring

  • 4+ years of experience as a Presales, Sales, Solutions or Integration Engineer, or as a TAM, in adtech or mobile SaaS.
  • A proven track record of leading SDK integrations with app publishers and supporting the full sales cycle.
  • Hands-on debugging skills in Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
  • A solid grasp of the mobile monetization stack (mediation, in-app bidding, Prebid Mobile, GAM/AdMob, OpenRTB)
  • Working knowledge of MRAID, VAST and HTML/JS creatives, plus SQL for data analysis.
  • Native-level Mandarin and fluent professional English, with the ability to explain complex topics in clear, client-friendly terms.
  • Confidence leading client calls and owning the conversation, with a proactive, structured and independent working style.
  • Bring China and other regional markets insights back to Product and R&D, and turn recurring issues into reusable tooling.
  • Support the wider APAC team, including Japan, and represent AppHarbr at industry events, with travel within the region.

Nice to have

  • A background in ad verification, brand safety or malvertising detection.
  • Ad integrations in Unity, Flutter or React Native, and scripting in Python or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Apple ATT and Google Play policies.
  • A network among Chinese game studios, ad networks or mediation partners.Japanese or Korean proficiency, for wider APAC coverage.

Who you are

  • An engineer who enjoys the customer side. You’d rather win deals and build relationships than write production code.
  • You take ownership of the process, and you take it personally when a deal is lost.
  • You’re mature and independent, and you communicate in a structured way with a distributed team.
  • You think strategically. You look past individual tickets to spot trends and new opportunities.
  • You’re a team player who complements Sales and the regional teams.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
