Nunnally Chevrolet is looking for a skilled, Certified Transmission Technician to join our busy service department. If you are a diagnostic expert who takes pride in precision and wants to work for a dealership that values its employees and its community, we want to talk to you.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certifications: ASE Certification in Automatic Transmission/Transaxle (A2) and Manual Drive Train & Axles (A3) is highly preferred. GM Factory Certification is a major plus.
  • Experience: A proven track record of diagnosing, stripping, and rebuilding complex transmissions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Ability to utilize advanced diagnostic software to pinpoint electronic and mechanical failures.
  • Efficiency: A "fixed right the first time" mentality with a focus on high productivity.
  • Integrity: A commitment to transparency and excellence in every repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose complex transmission and drivetrain issues using electronic tools and road testing.
  2. Perform high-quality repairs, replacements, and rebuilds on a variety of vehicles (heavy focus on Chevrolet/GM).
  3. Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and estimated timelines.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
