Express Technician (Entry Level, Will Train)

Germain Subaru is looking for motivated, dependable people to join our Express Service team as entry-level Express Technicians. No experience? No problem. If you are mechanically curious, eager to learn, and ready to build a career, we will provide the training to get you there.

At Germain Subaru, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do. Our Express Technicians are the foundation of our service department, and many of our best technicians started right here.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks and top-offs.
  • Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and document your findings accurately.
  • Replace common wear items such as wiper blades, bulbs, batteries, and filters.
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs as you build your skills.
  • Work with service advisors and team members to keep vehicles moving and customers happy.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Complete training and stay current on Subaru vehicles and service procedures.

Qualifications

  • No previous automotive experience required. We will train the right person.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Own hand tools are helpful but not required to start.
  • Technical school coursework or ASE certifications are a plus, but not necessary.
