**About The Job

**GetWhy is the end-to-end AI-powered human insights platform trusted by the world’s most influential brands, including eBay, Arla, Warner Brothers and The Coca Cola company, to understand their customers at scale. We’re backed by $40M in Series A funding and scaling aggressively into the enterprise market.

In our category, events aren’t a nice-to-have. They are a strategic weapon. Industry conferences, hosted experiences, executive dinners and brand activations are where relationships form, pipeline is built, and GetWhy cements its position as the category leader in AI-powered qualitative research.

We’re hiring our first Lead, Global Events & Community to own how GetWhy shows up in the world. This is a high-ownership role for someone with taste, commercial instinct and relentless execution. You’ll design experiences enterprise buyers actually want to attend, turn every event into content that travels far beyond the room, and build the playbook that lets GetWhy show up brilliantly on every continent.

What you’ll do

Own the global event strategy

  • Set GetWhy’s global events strategy with the marketing leadership, from tentpole industry conferences (IIEX, ESOMAR, Quirk’s) to hosted events, executive roundtables and product showcases.
  • Plan, produce and execute 15–20+ events per year across Europe, the US and beyond, each tied to clear pipeline, brand and customer goals.
  • Own the global events budget, sponsorship negotiations, and relationships with agencies, venues and production partners.

Make GetWhy unmissable at every conference

  • Have a strong point of view on world-class conference presence, from booth concept and spatial design to merch and the small details people remember.
  • Replace badge-scanning booths with live experiences: let attendees run a real GetWhy study, see AI-moderated interviews in action, and leave with an insight.
  • Secure speaking slots and sponsorships that put GetWhy at the centre of the industry conversation.

Put customers on stage

  • Build a flagship GetWhy-hosted event where customers present the work they’ve done with GetWhy and show other brands how to do the same.
  • Recruit and prepare customer and executive speakers, and make sure every GetWhy representative on stage or on the floor is briefed and on message.

Own the side events and intimate moments

  • Design VIP dinners, executive roundtables and side events around major conferences, where the real relationships are built.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on account-based events that move specific deals and expansions forward.

Run the content machine

  • Capture on-site content at every event, including video, photos and short clips that show GetWhy’s presence on the ground.
  • Turn events into social media content, such as live posts, recaps, reels and LinkedIn stories, working with the wider marketing team.
  • Conduct on-site interviews with customers, speakers and industry leaders, creating content for social, the website and sales enablement.
  • Make sure every event keeps working for weeks afterwards through recaps, clips and follow-up campaigns.

Turn events into revenue

  • Build the pre- and post-event engine: invitations, promotion, lead capture, qualification and a seamless handoff to Sales.
  • Track and report on pipeline, ROI, reach and brand impact for every event, and double down on what works.

Build the playbook

  • Create scalable playbooks and “event in a box” toolkits so local teams and partners can host on-brand GetWhy events anywhere.
  • Grow the events function over time, including freelancers, agencies and future hires.
  • Stay ahead of new event formats and technologies, and bring the best of them to GetWhy first.

Who you are

You’re not looking for an event coordination role. You’re a builder who sees events as the highest-leverage channel in a B2B enterprise sale, and you want to prove it on a global stage.

  • 3–6+ years in event marketing, field marketing or experiential marketing for B2B SaaS, enterprise tech or a high-growth scale-up.
  • A portfolio of standout events, with a track record that ties them directly to pipeline and revenue.
  • Real taste. You know what makes a booth, a dinner or a keynote memorable, and you can explain why.
  • Commercially minded. You think about pipeline and impact, not just logistics.
  • A poster, not a scroller. Social media is second nature, and you know what makes an event clip worth watching.
  • Comfortable behind a camera and in front of people. You can film, run an interview and do basic editing on the fly.
  • A strong operator who can run several events in parallel across time zones without dropping quality.
  • An excellent communicator who can brief a designer, negotiate with a venue and pitch an executive audience.
  • Comfortable with CRM and marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • A willing traveler. You go where the events are and you bring the energy.

Bonus points

  • Experience from the insights, market research or MarTech industry. You know the conferences, the audience and the culture.
  • Experience at an AI-native research company or a frontier AI or tech company known for its events.
  • You’ve built an events function from scratch, including playbooks, processes and measurement.
  • You’ve produced a flagship owned event or customer conference.
  • A network of event organisers, venues and production partners across Europe and the US.

What we offer

  • A fast-scaling, ambitious company where events are a core growth engine, not an afterthought.
  • The chance to build GetWhy’s global events function from the ground up and define how a category leader shows up in the world.
  • Real ownership, a seat close to leadership, and the budget and trust to try bold ideas.
  • Work with some of the world’s most influential brands as customers, speakers and partners.
  • Annual company retreats and Friday bar events. We work hard, and we celebrate hard.

How to apply

Click apply and upload your CV, LinkedIn profile, and a link to a portfolio of events you’ve produced. Event photos, clips or social posts you’ve made are a big plus.

If we see a match, we’ll invite you to a conversation online or at our office. The process includes a short creative assignment, where you’ll pitch how GetWhy should show up at one of our key industry conferences.

This isn’t the easiest events job out there. It’s the one that will define how a category leader shows up in the world. Let’s build GetWhy together.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
