Getz Cleanz Pte Ltd is an established and forward-thinking environmental services company specialising in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning and pest management solutions.

We are seeking a proactive, responsible and hands-on Cleaning Area Supervisor cum Pest Control Technician to join our growing operations team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations across multiple client sites, performing pest control services and providing hands-on cleaning support whenever operationally required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cleaning Operations Management

* Oversee and coordinate daily cleaning operations across assigned commercial and industrial sites.

* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards and contractual requirements are met.

* Supervise cleaners and site supervisors to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.

* Coordinate manpower deployment, duty rosters and replacement arrangements.

* Attend to client feedback, complaints and operational issues promptly.

* Conduct cleaning quality inspections and implement corrective and preventive actions.

* Support mobilisation and implementation of new cleaning contracts.

2. Hands-On Cleaning & Site Operational Support

* Assist and participate in actual cleaning duties at client sites whenever operationally required, including during manpower shortages, urgent cleaning assignments or special cleaning projects.

* Provide temporary cleaning coverage to maintain service continuity when necessary.

* Perform general cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, toilet cleaning, waste disposal, vacuuming, mopping and other cleaning tasks as assigned.

* Assist with periodic and specialised cleaning assignments, including machine scrubbing, high-pressure washing and other cleaning activities, subject to appropriate training.

* Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques and equipment handling to cleaners and site supervisors.

* Work closely with the operations team to resolve manpower challenges and ensure contractual cleaning requirements are fulfilled.

* Maintain a positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to support fellow team members regardless of job designation.

3. Pest Control Operations

* Perform pest inspections, monitoring and treatment at commercial, industrial and residential premises.

* Identify pest infestations, potential breeding areas and environmental conditions contributing to pest activity.

* Carry out pest control treatments using approved methods, chemicals and equipment.

* Prepare pest inspection reports, treatment records and recommendations for clients.

* Ensure pest control activities comply with applicable NEA regulations and workplace safety requirements.

* Maintain pest control equipment, chemical inventory and treatment records.

* Recommend preventive measures and integrated pest management solutions to clients.

* Assist in coordinating routine and ad-hoc pest control assignments.

4. Client Management & Service Quality

* Maintain professional working relationships with clients, managing agents and facility managers.

* Conduct joint site inspections and attend operational meetings when required.

* Investigate service complaints and implement timely corrective actions.

* Identify opportunities to introduce additional cleaning and pest management services to existing clients.

5. Workplace Safety & Compliance

* Ensure cleaning and pest control activities comply with company safety policies and applicable Singapore regulatory requirements.

* Conduct toolbox briefings and provide operational guidance to cleaning teams.

* Ensure proper handling, storage and application of cleaning chemicals and pesticides.

* Report incidents, unsafe conditions and operational non-compliance to management.

6. Teamwork & Operational Support

* Work closely with the Operations Manager, Area Supervisors and cleaning teams.

* Support daily operational activities and respond to urgent site requirements.

* Assist in training cleaners on cleaning methods, equipment handling and pest prevention.

* Demonstrate flexibility in handling cleaning operations, pest control assignments and hands-on site duties.

* Contribute ideas to improve productivity, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

* Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements

* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cleaning operations, pest control or environmental services, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.

* Must possess a valid NEA Pest Control Technician Licence.

* Practical knowledge of pest identification, treatment methods and safe pesticide application.

* Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning operations is highly preferred.

* Possess a valid Class 3 Singapore driving licence.

* Good communication, problem-solving and client management skills.

* Able to work independently and as part of an operations team.

* Must be willing and physically capable of performing hands-on cleaning duties at client sites whenever required.

* Must possess a strong team-oriented attitude and be willing to assist cleaners and fellow colleagues during operational challenges.

* Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications and digital reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

* Additional relevant NEA pest management qualifications.

* WSQ certifications in Environmental Services or Cleaning Supervision.

* Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM).

* Experience preparing operational reports, risk assessments and method statements.

* Familiarity with cleaning machinery and productivity improvement initiatives.
