Maintains electrical distribution, motors, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and related systems in a refinery environment to support safe, reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, commission, and troubleshoot instruments such as pressure transmitters, level transmitters, flow meters, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and controls.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Support installations and upgrades, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation interfaces.
- Document work and ensure compliance with safe electrical practices.
- Adhere to regulatory expectations including OSHA 29 CFR 1910 standards, Process Safety Management (PSM) (29 CFR 1910.119), Management of Change (MOC), and environmental compliance programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge & Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical distribution, motor controls, and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting instruments (pressure/level transmitters, flow meters, etc.) as well as electrical equipment and controls (MCCs, motors, etc.).
- Familiarity with safe electrical work practices and documentation.
- API/ASME code familiarity and inspection/quality certifications (Preferred).

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education / Degree / Licensing / Certifications (as required): Journeyman-level training/licensure as applicable.
- Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: Typically 3–7 years industrial electrical experience.

- Other or Preferred (as applicable): Prior refinery, chemical, terminal, or continuous-process manufacturing experience.
