Job Description: This job is responsible for configuring and delivering software delivery automation. Key responsibilities include ensuring software deployments are configured to meet standards for access, ownership, and authentication and that software promotion release pipelines are well designed and follow Continuous Delivery (CD) best practices. Job expectations include the ability to integrate development, testing practices, software delivery tools, and runtime application standards at the bank.

Responsibilities:

  • Configures and maintains the set of tools and services that provide Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) services and validates access control mechanisms for the Software and Infrastructure Engineering team throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Reviews the configuration of applications servers to confirm that CI/CD service platform onboarding pre-requisites are available and configured properly
  • Monitors and responds to “how-to" information requests about CI/CD Software service use and to alerts based on the CI/CD services KPIs
  • Responds to risk or audit identified issues with access control processed designed for compliance with firm separation of duties practices and software release management standards, and policies
  • Works with Infrastructure and Solutions Engineers to understand changes in CI/CD service platform components and behaviors, creating or contributing to the CI/CD Platform services documentation
  • Executes change tickets for CI/CD service onboarding and decommissioning using approved change management processes as scheduled by Software or Infrastructure Engineers
  • Works with Site Reliability Engineers to understand the planned changes in monitoring and alerting capabilities

Workday Position Summary

  • Solid understanding of code related to Java, Net, Python, Scala, Node JS, JavaScript and Specialized subject matter expertise in the CI CD tools combined with latest tech stack knowledge related to Cloud programming, Terraform, AWS or GCP or Azure or OpenShift.
  • Provide in-depth problem analysis of application, system errors, and performance issues
  • Proactive application stability analysis – investigate performance concerns, system errors, improve maintenance processes, automation, and resolution of open issues
  • Ownership of problem root cause analysis and remediation
  • Chronic issue investigation for critical application issues
  • Lead proactive monitoring review and implementation
  • On call support for production releases

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing APS operational support for Horizon's build and deploy tools that includes Jenkis, Aritifactory, Ansible Tower, release orchestration tool XLR, RedHat OpenShift, Container, Maven, MSBuild, Python pipelines troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

  • Have hands on experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, Ansible Tower, Digital's XLR , testing tools like TOSCA, QTest, Octane and RedHat Openshift Containers and work with development community to triage and troubleshot code related issues and platform issues and find root cuase and correction action thereafter. Quick understanding of any code and troubleshoting techniques is a must for this role. Remember users are developers and in order to hlp themthis suport role should be able to understand the issues they would encounter and provide solution.
  • Have hands on experience with creation of playbook , automation tasks. Perform application installation, maintenance and integration with other CI tools like Jenkins, Sonarqube, Bitbucket
  • Expertise in Unix system, scripting and knowledge on BASH, KSH
  • Troubleshooting experience and determine root cause analysis
  • Have 7+ years on doing production support experience.
  • Good understanding of oracle and (or) postgres database

Desired Qualifications

  • Service Management tool experience like ServiceNow, or Jira Service manager
