CDL Class A Driver and Warehouse Team Member — 2nd Shift Gibbs Die Casting is hiring a dependable CDL Class A Driver and Warehouse Team Member for 2nd shift. This local role offers a mix of driving, material handling, and hands-on warehouse work, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys variety and being part of a team that keeps customer shipments moving. Your primary responsibility will be making deliveries and pickups in the surrounding tristate area using tractor-trailers and straight trucks. When you are not on the road, you will help the warehouse team prepare, move, and verify materials for customer shipments.   What You'll Do

Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment and straight trucks. Perform daily safety inspections and ensure equipment is road ready.

Connect and disconnect trailers safely. Load and unload freight as needed.

Make deliveries and pickups throughout the surrounding tristate area. Move materials using a hand truck, forklift, or by hand. Load outgoing parts and verify parts, quantities, and shipping documentation. Unload and properly store customer dunnage, packaging materials, components, and parts. Pull and process material to support on-time customer deliveries. Follow FIFO and established shipping procedures. Verify labels, routing tags, container types, weights, counts, and other customer requirements. Communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged material, safety concerns, and other issues to supervision.

  Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement preferred.

At least three months of related driving, warehouse, material-handling, or equivalent training experience. Ability to meet applicable FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements, including annual limited queries.
