Join the team at Tracy Volkswagen as a Service Technician and play a vital role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic dealership environment where your technical skills and commitment to quality service will be valued and rewarded.

We have entry-level positions starting at $17.00 to Master Certified Volkswagen technicians up to $66.00.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests and identify mechanical or electrical issues in Volkswagen vehicles.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and alignments.
  • Repair or replace worn or broken vehicle parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding necessary repairs and service timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and quality controls while working on vehicles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
  • Experience as an automotive service technician, preferably with Volkswagen or similar vehicle brands.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
