The posting

Customer Service & Supply Chain Specialist for a global manufacturer of industrial and consumer products. This is a B2B role, not a call center. You'll own a set of business accounts and manage their orders from entry through delivery and invoicing, working closely with Supply Chain to keep product moving.

What you'll do:

  • Own the full order-to-cash process for assigned business customers: order entry, tracking, deliveries, invoicing, credits and returns
  • Partner with Supply Chain, planning and logistics to fix supply shortages, delivery delays and backorders
  • Balance customer needs against what Supply Chain can deliver, and set clear expectations
  • Process and manage orders in SAP
  • Log every customer interaction in Salesforce Service Cloud and schedule follow-ups
  • Handle complex customer cases to minimize disruption and downtime
  • Gather customer feedback and find ways to improve service and retain accounts
  • Visit customers occasionally

Required (please make sure your resume shows these):

  • 2–5 years in B2B customer service, order management, supply chain or inside sales at a manufacturer, distributor or logistics company
  • Hands-on order-to-cash experience
  • SAP or another ERP (Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Working knowledge of supply chain: inventory, backorders, shipping and logistics coordination
  • A CRM such as Salesforce
  • High school diploma or GED

A plus: chemicals, adhesives, industrial or consumer packaged goods experience.
