Summary of Role:

We’re scaling a new photonics and advanced packaging business at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, major investment decisions, and a rapidly expanding network of customers, suppliers, and strategic partners. This is a rare opportunity to help shape how an emerging business grows—from evaluating where to invest and how to structure partnerships to translating complex technical choices into clear commercial and financial decisions. In this high-visibility, cross-functional role, you will work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Program Management, Technology Development, Corporate Development and Business Finance teams, gaining broad exposure to both the technology and the business. Your work will shape the strategic and investment decisions that define the future of the business.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Organic and Inorganic Business strategy. Shape growth strategies for new programs, markets, customer opportunities, acquisitions and partnerships by assessing strategic fit, competitive positioning, capabilities, execution risks, and organizational priorities. Complement these perspectives with business cases and scenario-based analyses, including unit economics, CapEx and OpEx, returns, pricing, deal structures, and make-versus-buy options.
  • Technical-to-commercials translation. Partner with process, packaging, test, and operations teams to understand manufacturing flows, cost, yield, capacity, and technical tradeoffs. Translate complex engineering inputs into clear business economics, strategic options, and recommendations.
  • Market research and ecosystem development. Identify and develop relationships with suppliers, strategic partners, and potential collaborators across the photonics and advanced packaging ecosystem
  • Leadership and executive presence. Develop and present decision-oriented materials that help drive cross-functional and executive alignment on key strategic priorities.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience, including 2+ years in investment banking, strategy consulting or corporate development
  • Strong financial modeling skills: business economics, scenario and sensitivity analysis, capital-investment and return analysis
  • A record of building executive and board-level presentations and of presenting recommendations to senior audiences
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or another quantitative field, or proven ability to work through technical material with engineers
  • Cross-functional work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in engineering, physics or another quantitative field
  • Exposure to semiconductors, hardware, telecom or data center infrastructure

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
