The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 1st shift Dimensional Inspector. Days/hours are Monday - Friday; 6:30 am- 3:00 pm This site employs 158. Pratt & Whitney PSD provides the aviation industry with capabilities for specialized repair of gas turbine engine cases and components.
What You Will Do:
- This position is responsible for processing and inspecting a variety of engine cases to determine and verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.
- Performing visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process and final inspections and reporting any discrepancies found during the inspection process.
- Working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
- Performing work using scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers and indicators.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Must be a United States Citizen due to government contracts.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals and customer requirements.
- Experience in aerospace or related industry

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines.
