RTX Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to support a dynamic portfolio of advanced technology efforts within the Offensive Systems Engineering (OSE) organization. This role will contribute to successful execution Contract Research and Development (CRAD) programs by coordinating program activities, supporting planning and reporting, and ensuring alignment with defined technical, cost, and schedule objectives. The candidate will work closely with engineering, contracts, finance, supply chain, and security partners to drive disciplined program execution. This position is onsite based in Tucson, Arizona.
What You Will Do
- Support the execution programs by monitoring progress, identifying issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develop, maintain, and track program plans, milestones, budgets, and resource needs in alignment with established objectives.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders, ensuring clear visibility of status, risks, and opportunities.
- Participate in risk and opportunity management activities, including identification, documentation, and tracking of mitigation actions.
- Prepare and deliver program metrics, presentations, and status updates for monthly reports and internal reviews.
- Ensure adherence to RTX program management processes, policies, and applicable contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with peer program teams across the portfolio to support resource planning, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
- Experience supporting IRAD and/or CRAD efforts, including planning, execution tracking, or reporting.
- Experience with program lifecycle management, including cost, schedule, and technical baseline development.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Active US Top Secret Security Clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
- Familiarity with emerging aerospace and defense technologies (weapons effects, sensing, autonomy, advanced materials, AI/ML, etc.).
- Understanding of DoD procurement processes and working with government customers.
- PM Level 7 certification or equivalent, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Experience working across multiple RTX sites or distributed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to technical audiences and leadership.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
