We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies. Summary The Customer Service Representative (Truck Gate) will coordinate all data entry and related processes for truck gate operations to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment for all employees, carriers, and drivers. Responsibilities

Process trucks as they arrive by recording the driver, truck number, and arrival date/time Process trucks as they depart by entering load sheet info into iVELES and scanning bay tags to match with load sheet

Upload and confirm complete Allow driver to proceed offsite

Inspect the truck gate and truck load lanes each hour to ensure cleanliness

Report any spills or trash to the driver or carrier office Log inspection results in logbook

Update truck data on computer as needed Other duties as assigned 

Education & Experience

HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required 1 - 2 years of direct experience Required

Skills

Ability to work effectively in group/team settings Required Ability to respond to IT problems and Customer queries Required Interpersonal and communication skills Required Knowledge of MS Office applications to include Excel experience Required

Working and Environmental Conditions This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting at West Point, GA

Exposure to loud noises from vehicles and heavy machinery Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions Exposure to chemicals/fumes
