The posting

As Regulatory Product Compliance Specialist in GN Hearing, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer, by helping ensure that our hearing aid products remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.

You will support regulatory assessments, product changes, documentation, and process improvements that help bring safe and compliant medical devices to market and keep them there. In this role, you will support lifecycle compliance for hearing aids across new products and in‑market devices.

This fixed-term role - 12-month parental leave cover - offers a meaningful opportunity to develop your experience and expand your network. You will be part of a collaborative team, work on relevant priorities and gain insights that support your continued professional development—while making a valued contribution throughout the assignment. You will also build valuable knowledge of our organization, ways of working and opportunities across the business, helping you develop relationships and visibility for future roles in our company, should relevant opportunities arise.

The team you will be part of:

At our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join the Regulatory Operations team and report to the Director, Regulatory Operations.

We are a collaborative team where learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement are part of our everyday work. We encourage new ideas and give you the opportunity to develop both your technical and professional skills, while helping bring safe and compliant medical devices to market.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Support regulatory compliance activities across the lifecycle of hearing aid products.
  • Contribute to regulatory assessments and product change activities to help maintain continued compliance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across functions to support product development and product lifecycle improvements.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficient day-to-day ways of working.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline repetitive tasks using digital tools and AI where relevant.
  • Support Agile ways of working
  • Prepare and maintain clear regulatory documentation.

At GN Hearing we encourage flexible working when possible. We trust our people to fulfill their responsibilities, to know when in-person collaboration creates the most value, and to be present when it matters most.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field
  • Bring relevant experience from studies, internships, student roles, or an early-career position
  • Have an interest in medical device regulation and quality, with some familiarity with frameworks such as MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or IEC 62366, or similar
  • Understand how to work within procedures, controlled documentation, change control, and audit-ready processes
  • Take a structured and risk-based approach to your work
  • Communicate clearly and can adapt technical or regulatory topics to different audiences
  • Work well both independently and in collaboration with others
  • Are curious, analytical, and motivated to learn
  • Are proficient in English, written and spoken

You may be especially effective in this role if you have also worked with or have an interest in:

  • Automation or digital tools, such as Python, Power Automate or Power BI
  • AI tools that support efficiency and process improvement
  • Agile or Scrum ways of working

We encourage you to apply

If your experience does not match every qualification listed, we still encourage you to apply. We know that relevant skills can come from different types of roles, studies, and experiences. We value transferable skills and motivation to learn. We also welcome applications from recent graduates who bring curiosity, structure, and a strong motivation to grow within medical device regulatory and quality work.

We are committed to an inclusive recruitment process

All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. To support a fair and consistent process, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo.

If you need any adjustments or accommodations during the interview process, please let the Hiring Manager know when accepting the invitation to interview.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
