KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively looking to recruit STATION MANAGER.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The STATION MANAGER will be responsible for supervising the Finance Department to prepare Annual Budgets for the Bus Station and managing the smooth operations of the Bus Station within the set policies, procedures and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the smooth operations of the Bus Station
  • Supervising all the Staff of the Bus Station
  • Supervising the Finance Department which is headed by an Accountant to prepare Monthly, quarterly and annual Reports of the Station
  • Supervising the Finance Department to prepare Annual Budgets for the Bus Station
  • Preparing and Calling for Quarterly Finance Committee and Board of Directors Meetings
  • Secretary in both the Finance Committee and Board of Directors Meetings and issuing timely Minutes from these Meetings
  • Liaising and arranging Meetings with the External Auditors of the Station for the annual external Audits, including agreeing Audit Fees with the External Auditors
  • Meeting and developing good working relationship with relevant Government Officials, including Ministry of Local Government, Lusaka City Council, Zambia Police and other identifiable relevant Stakeholders in the smooth operations of the Bus Station
  • Any other Duties incidental or as may be directed by the Board of Directors of the Station, which are in line with this Position

Education & Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate and a good command of the English language, both written and spoken. Additional Tertiary academic qualifications, post Grade is an advantage;
  • Command of common local Languages spoken in Lusaka
  • Honesty - key requirement;
  • Strong Administrative Experience and Skills - able to interact with Members of the Public even with lowest members of Public;
  • Traceable References;
