Als Manager Food & Value Papers neem jij het eigenaarschap over de volledige levenscyclus van het assortiment. Je bouwt een sterke categorie- en assortimentsstrategie uit en zorgt dat alles vlot verloopt, van sourcing tot productintroductie, optimalisatie en uitfasering. Je werkt nauw samen met Sales en Marketing om de juiste keuzes te maken en het verschil te maken in omzet, marge en rotatie.

Een doorsnee dag bestaat uit het opvolgen van marktontwikkelingen, het spotten van nieuwe trends en het vertalen van data en KPI’s naar acties die impact hebben. Je zit regelmatig samen met leveranciers en sterke merken om duurzame partnerships uit te bouwen. Door scherpe onderhandelingen haal je het beste uit jaarakkoorden, condities en promoties. Je begeleidt ook Purchase Support en Replenishment, en grijpt kansen om processen efficiënter te maken.

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma, bij voorkeur aangevuld met relevante ervaring in aankoop, category management of commerciële onderhandelingen.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en kunt cijfers, marges, trends en KPI’s omzetten in duidelijke acties.
  • Je bent een overtuigende onderhandelaar met commercieel inzicht en bouwt duurzame leveranciersrelaties uit.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Frans, en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, proactief en neemt ownership over je projecten.
  • Ervaring binnen FMCG, food, drinks of convenience, en kennis van Excel, ERP-systemen en aankoopanalyses zijn troeven.
  • Je bent leergierig, commercieel gedreven en neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid.
