About the Position

We are looking for upbeat and dedicated Concierges to help us establish a world-class, guest- centric environment for all Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries games, and Chase Center concerts and events.

This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication!

This is a part-time position located on-site in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a steward for all premium spaces, ensuring exclusivity through diligent access control, including ticket verification, wrist banding, and credential checks.
  • Provide consistent, high-level service to all guests to build positive relationships
  • Maintain presence at premium locations to develop a strong rapport and long-term positive relationships with repeat clients and their guests
  • Display exceptional ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity at all times, including in high-stress and high-profile environments
  • Resolve suite and premium ticket holder needs (i.e., wheelchair/escort requests, answer questions, and provide information) to create a fun and seamless guest experience
  • Respond to and resolve guest feedback in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner
  • Work as a team to maintain the integrity of the premium locations, and notify management of challenges and concerns
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse departments (Premium Sales and Service, Security) to maintain a consistent guest experience
  • Perform pre-event and post-event environmental assessments of premium seating areas, ensuring all spaces meet Chase Center’s aesthetic and cleanliness standards before guest arrival
  • Identify and execute opportunities to create personalized 'memorable moments' for premium guests, utilizing creative problem-solving to exceed guest expectations
  • Retain extensive knowledge of Chase Center policies, seating charts, and key personnel to provide seamless wayfinding and problem-solving.
  • Serve as a source of information and FAQs for Chase Center guests; provide proactive solutions
  • Respond to calls via radio or voice amplifiers during events and make on-the-spot decisions regarding arena and guest experience relations policies on management
  • Work Thrive City & off-site Golden State Warriors and Valkyries events as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent and engaging interpersonal skills
  • High energy, strong detail orientation, and superior work ethic
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, including during emergencies
  • Ability to adhere to proper uniform and grooming standards as defined by Chase Center management
  • Ability to work Thrive City & off-site Golden State events as needed; may be responsible for supporting set up and breakdown of these events
  • Reliable form of transportation

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, up to or beyond 6 hours
  • Note: This position may require you to sit or stand in an enclosed space (i.e., an elevator) and travel on upper and lower levels multiple times during your shift

Time Commitment

  • Event Minimum: Maintain availability for at least 60% of all year-round events held at Chase Center to include regular-season home games for both the Golden State Warriors (NBA) and Golden State Valkyries (WNBA), including potential post-season assignments.
  • Flexible Commitment: Ability to work a non-traditional schedule—including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays—aligned with the year-round Chase Center event calendar
  • Shift Duration: Shifts typically range from 5 to 7 hours, depending on the event type; for example, standard game nights are generally 5:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Variable Hours: Weekly schedules fluctuate based on event volume and department needs. While consistent availability is required, part-time status does not guarantee a scheduled shift for every individual event
  • Auxiliary & Off-site Event Support: Serve as a representative for the Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries, or Thrive City at off-site activations as assigned; staffing for these events is based on individual availability and departmental needs, and may require specialized uniforms, unique timing, and physical support for event setup and breakdown.

Education & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, travel, tourism, or attractions is preferred

Compensation

  • $23.34 per hour

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
