We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior UX Writer to join our Product Writing team. This is a senior role for someone who has already owned content for complex products and is ready to raise the bar again. If you have a passion for writing and are excited to have an impact on a platform used by some of the biggest names in tech, we want to meet you! The pace is fast and the standards are high. We’re looking for someone who loves writing, puts in the effort, and takes pride in shipping content that’s right. You’ll be working for an amazing offering in a growing market and working with a team of experienced writers, designers, product managers, and engineers.

You’ll Own:

  • Owning and managing all the content needs for your pods
  • Driving writing projects end to end, working in Figma and prototypes to write, iterate, and refine copy in context
  • Helping to define and maintain our team style guide, design system, and other team assets

You’ll Solve:

  • Working with product managers, engineers, and designers to create concise, clear, and helpful microcopy, and giving UX/UI content feedback in your product areas
  • Monitoring and responding to internal and external feedback channels to address customer needs and define content priorities

You’ll Impact:

  • Supporting the documentation of Help Center articles
  • Creating user assistance for Gong’s features, including product tours and sidebar content
  • Using AI writing tools daily to draft, review, and scale content, and helping the team build smarter AI-assisted workflows

How You’ll Succeed Here:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in writing microcopy
  • Write in mother-tongue English
  • Have experience owning UX content for complex products, from understanding the problem through launch and iteration, and a portfolio that shows it
  • Have strong content judgment and attention to detail, with a track record of producing accurate, consistent work
  • Take a research-minded approach: you seek out product context, user needs, and relevant evidence before making content decisions
  • Are fluent in AI writing tools and know how to use them to work faster without lowering quality
  • Are a quick learner, eager and curious to explore new technologies
  • Can step into the shoes of our various customers’ personas, modify the tone and voice of your writing to match the customer and use case, and create content that’s meaningful for them
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with partners: you share progress, surface risks or blockers early, and make sure decisions and next steps are understood
  • Follow through reliably: you manage competing priorities, meet agreed commitments, and raise changes to timelines as soon as they arise
  • Have the confidence to ask questions, flag uncertainty, and take ownership of resolving content issues
  • Work independently with minimal handholding, while being a strong team player
  • Are hard-working, positive, and energetic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
