Job Summary:

Experienced finance professional to manage regulatory reporting, financial accounting, and compliance activities while supporting business governance and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly and periodic financial reports for Head Office.
  • Coordinate with external consultants on annual transfer pricing documentation.
  • Prepare and review quarterly GST returns.
  • Prepare and review daily regulatory compliance reports.
  • Prepare statutory accounts, corporate tax schedules, management accounts, and MAS regulatory reports (including MAS 649 and MAS 610).
  • Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, system administration, and routine accounting activities.
  • Monitor updates to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), MAS regulations, and relevant legislation, and report key changes to management.
  • Update accounting procedures and implement process improvements to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience in statutory accounts, management accounts, corporate tax schedules, and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience preparing GST returns and compliance-related reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written Japanese for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and Head Office counterparts in Japan.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
