About the Position

A family living in Cologny is looking for a reliable, organised and experienced Housekeeper to take care of the household and ensure its smooth day-to-day running.

The ideal candidate is proactive, independent and takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming home. Someone who enjoys cooking and is comfortable managing various household tasks is particularly appreciated.

Main Responsibilities

  • General housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the home.
  • Cooking and preparing daily meals for the family.
  • Laundry, ironing and proper care of clothing and household linens.
  • Grocery shopping and managing household supplies.
  • Keeping the kitchen and other living areas clean and organised.
  • Ensuring the household runs smoothly on a daily basis.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Fluent in Portuguese or English.
  • EU passport or valid Swiss work permit.
  • Previous experience as a housekeeper in a private household.
  • Checkable references.
  • Confident in cooking and preparing family meals.
  • Well-organised, reliable, discreet and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and anticipate the family's needs.
  • Flexible and willing to commit to a long-term position.
  • A valid driving licence is a strong advantage.
