The posting

Our preschool provides a warm, nurturing environment where children develop language, social skills, creativity, and independence through meaningful play and engaging activities. Chinese language proficiency is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead age-appropriate English activities, including stories, songs, early literacy, art, and hands-on exploration.

Support children’s social and emotional development through positive guidance.

Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom.

Assist with daily routines, including meals, toileting, transitions, and rest time.

Collaborate with Chinese teachers to create a supportive bilingual learning experience.

Experience teaching or caring for preschool-aged children.

Strong English communication skills.

A patient, dependable, and collaborative approach.

Knowledge of child development and play-based learning.

Ability to meet applicable Oregon child care teacher qualifications and complete required background checks and training.

A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
