The posting

Job description

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Additional job description

The App and Ecosystem Trust (AET) team ensures safe, secure, and trustworthy experiences across our global app ecosystem. Mokka is the core review engine that processes every app submission, update, and runtime signal to protect billions of users from security vulnerabilities, policy violations, and malicious behavior.

As the Product Manager for Mokka, you will take the lead on driving the overall strategy and tactical execution of our next-generation review infrastructure. Your core mission is to bridge advanced ML-driven detection capabilities with developer velocity, ensuring our entire ecosystem remains secure without unnecessary friction.

Qualifications

Job responsibilities

  • Define the multi-year product roadmap for Mokka, the app safety review platform, to scale under submission volume increases driven by AI-assisted code generation (vibe coding).
  • Architect automated static, dynamic, and LLM-assisted review pipelines that intercept modern security threats before apps reach production. Design robust defenses against emerging AI vulnerabilities, including malicious model weights, indirect prompt injection vectors, agentic permission escalation, and generative privacy leaks.
  • Balance friction-free onboarding for legitimate developers with rigorous verification checks for high-risk or automated app factories.
  • Partner with Operations and Policy teams to design intelligent human-in-the-loop review interfaces, leveraging generative AI assistants to speed up analyst workflows and reduce manual cognitive load.
  • Partner closely with ML Research, Security Engineering, Policy Operations, and Developer Relations across global sites (US, Bangalore, London, Singapore) and drive alignment across vertical AET teams (e.g. Content, Malware)

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • Experience with mobile app security, app store ecosystems, or content moderation platforms.
  • Technical familiarity with LLM security evaluation, AI threat models (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs), or static/dynamic code analysis tools.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with experience defining and optimizing multi-objective platform metrics (safety vs. speed vs. operational cost).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
