About the job

As a member of the Global Communications and Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to communicate with journalists, creators, and thought leaders. You will act as a modern communicator, balancing high-touch relationship building with high-tech operational efficiency.

You will be a great storyteller who can understand complex issues and explain them via well-written blog posts, scripts, social content and more. Crucially, you embrace AI as a powerful partner in your creative process—using tools to accelerate drafting, research, and insights while applying your deep local knowledge to ensure cultural resonance.

We help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of Google's products, our distinctive company culture/values and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Google, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across PR, Communications, Marketing, Product, and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate generative AI tools into your daily workflow to scale operational efficiency, enhance creativity, and drive data-backed storytelling while strictly upholding Google's AI Principles.
  • Respond to media inquiries and work with journalists to support favorable angles, utilizing AI-driven sentiment analysis to rapidly protect and promote Google’s reputation across all projects.
  • Drive the development of high-quality communications plans, pitches, and social copy, leveraging technology to streamline and localize global narratives with precise cultural nuance.
  • Establish clear campaign measurement criteria and utilize advanced AI insights to analyze trends, predict sentiment, and deliver strategic recommendations that continuously refine external communications.
  • Act as a product expert, manage remote PR agencies and their budgets, and partner with regional teams and managers to navigate crisis communications, incidents, and major initiative coverage.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
