Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.
  • Experience in web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, XML), databases, or SQL queries.
  • Experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, Python, PHP, etc.)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical decisions with both internal and external stakeholders.

As a Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer for gTech Users and Products (gUP) Core Third-Party Identity, you will balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will build tools and automate products, oversee technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects. You will be delivering excellent customer care and make sure things go smoothly for our customers across the globe when they need us most.

You will have a set of technical skills and will lend them to solve some of the toughest technology problems, making an impact for users and helping shape the direction of Google products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $102000 - $144000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and scope out technical solutions needed for the roll out of life-cycle events (e.g., launch, deprecation, migration) for Google’s 1P/3P authentication and authorization solutions such as Sign-in With Google and OAuth. Partner with PM/Eng/PSMs to manage rollouts end-to-end.
  • Develop Sales Engineering activities with BD for partners (e.g., pitch, partner technical objection handling, implementation troubleshooting, guides).
  • Identify technical gaps, recognize patterns, and surface opportunities for solution reuse or new innovations to help.
  • Write technical integration documentation and communications to developers/partners. Implement tools and/or dashboards to track and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external partners to provide technical and business feedback and deliver technical solutions. Develop subject matter expertise in the Identity spaces to provide deeper advice and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
