Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience with systems engineering practices, including incident response, monitoring, service-level objectives, and change management.

Responsibilities
- Build and lead an engineering team in a fast-paced environment and work together with other Engineering and Product teams to build features from the ground-up for a rapidly growing fintech ecosystem in some of the most vibrant markets of the world.
- Hire, build, and lead team(s) of high-calibre Engineers focused on building end to end horizontal and vertical products.
- Partner and Collaborate with cross functional teams and define the engineering strategy and roadmap.
- Execute on the strategies and roadmap and deliver high-impact solutions for GPay Merchants and beyond.
- Navigate high ambiguity problems. Come up with innovative ideas, challenge assumptions, and deliver the best solutions for our merchants.
