Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience streamlining cross-functional activities into logical and replicable processes.
- Experience with financial modeling, large datasets, and integrated financial systems.
- Experience in transaction settings and navigating documentation across business, legal, and financial dimensions.
- Experience presenting to and communicating with leadership across Engineering, Product, and Sales.
- Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, AI/ML hardware (GPUs/TPUs/custom silicon), and data center operations.

As a Finance Manager for Cloud Finance Emerging Business, you will help establish new businesses by enabling 3 core activities: (i) transactions, dealmaking, and negotiation, (ii) financial operations and business processes, and (iii) capital allocation and financial modeling. You will be at the center of cross-functional partnerships with Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance teams such as Treasury and Accounting, optimizing resources and decision-making for across compute and data center capacity in a changing and dynamic business environment.
You will be part of a high-performing team responsible for end-to-end ownership of financial data and processes, driving plans for infrastructure. Your work will inform Cloud leadership and directly influence critical decisions, helping steer some of the work happening at Google.

Responsibilities
- Drive critical processes and negotiations related to transactions that enable emerging Cloud initiatives, developing financial structures to support new business activity.
- Lead discovery and design efforts to establish financial data systems and processes, collaborating with operational partners and the PMO team.
- Build and manage financial models unifying inputs from Finance, Demand Planning, Engineering, and Product for contract negotiations and long-term forecasts.
- Advise Cloud leadership on capital allocation decisions, factoring in margin impact, return on invested capital, free cash flow, and data center ramp forecasts.
- Author presentations and narratives for senior leadership, including updates on annual budgets, capacity, CapEx investments, and infrastructure strategy.
