Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in advising on, leading, and developing cybersecurity solutions across multiple security domains, including: security operations, security architecture and engineering, cloud security, threat intelligence, incident response, threat hunting, or similar roles.
- Experience applying advanced enterprise cybersecurity controls, threat intelligence, cloud security controls, network engineering concepts, and identity management frameworks.
- Experience in people management.
- Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Personnel Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent).
- Direct experience building or securing AI/ML pipelines, utilizing AI security frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, NIST AI RMF), or configuring secure cloud AI environments.
- Strong experience securing multi-cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud computing platform).
- Proven experience managing project lifecycles, establishing scope boundaries, tracking engineering milestones, and delivering complex client reports on time.
- Experience with threat modeling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA) and application security perimeters.

As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and detect and respond to cyber security threats. Security Consultants have an understanding of computer science, operating system functionality and networking, cloud services, corporate network environments and how to apply this knowledge to cyber security threats.
As a Security Consultant, you could work on engagements including assisting clients in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. You may also test client networks, applications and devices by emulating the latest techniques to help them defend against threats, and will be the technical advocate for information security requirements and provide an in-depth understanding of the information security domain. You will also articulate and present complex concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical contributors and successfully lead complex engagements alongside cross functional teams.
As a Mission Manager within Mandiant's National Security team, you will embed with Canadian national security and defence clients to help build a secure, resilient nation.
You will lead a forward-deployed team delivering integrated cyber defence, threat intelligence, security engineering, AI-augmented detection and response, and continuous validation testing. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Canada: $198000 - $202000 (CAD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of forward-deployed engineers and advisors to deliver transformative cyber defence solutions and operations.
- Evaluate and advise on the secure deployment of modern workloads, specifically focusing on cloud-native ecosystems and the secure integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms and pipelines.
- Identify challenges in customer cyber defence capabilities and formulate strategies for improvement, plan implementation of improvements, and execute/oversee plans to completion.
- Develop relationships and establish strong collaborative partnerships with executive stakeholders and key authorities to achieve project and long term strategic objectives.
- Develop and present comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
