About the job

Business Finance provides financial and analytical support and advice to Google’s Global Business Organization (GBO). Our work is integral to the strategy and operations of the commercial teams across all our advertising products. From understanding market and usage trends to exploring the productivity and return of our various investments, the Business Finance organization is an important partner and independent advisor to the commercial leaders in our company.

The EMEA GBO Product Finance team are subject matter experts in Google’s Ads Products and horizontals including Verticals and Agency. We shape regional Ads strategy and empower leaders across EMEA to navigate the fast evolving ads landscape to maximize value for customers, partners, and Google.

In this role, you will deploy strong problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills to deliver actionable insights and quantitative analyses that support key business decisions. You will bring a solid understanding of Search Ads mechanics and its commercial value propositions, combined with an eagerness to learn and innovate. By actively integrating AI and automation into your daily workflow—streamlining reporting, optimizing data pipelines, and augmenting financial models—you will drive operational efficiency and unlock capacity for in-depth search. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Finance, GTM, and Sales to manage complex ad hoc queries, track auction performance, and empower stakeholders through clear, data-backed recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with GBO, GTM, and Sales stakeholders to deliver, data-driven financial insights, performance trends, and recommendations on core Search growth priorities.
  • Build collaborative cross-functional relationships across regional Finance, Sales, and internal business data science teams to align global reporting standards and data methodologies.
  • Lead and execute complex, end-to-end investigative projects, applying statistical modeling techniques to forecast Search auction dynamics, CPC fluctuations, query volumes, and bidding behaviors. Deliver investigative insights to inform decision-making, helping stakeholders understand key business drivers, product trends, risks, and performance opportunities.
  • Monitor business performance trends, distilling massive, complex datasets into clear executive narratives, actionable risk-mitigation strategies, and visual dashboards for leadership team forums.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
